In-Home Foot Care
In-home foot care services are performed in the comfort of your home by a certified, advanced and diabetic foot care nurse. In-home services can be requested by those who live within Belleville or the Central Hastings area (Stirling, Tweed, Madoc, Marmora). The foot care nurse will provide all equipment and supplies to perform foot care in the home, including a foot stool (if you prefer using your recliner, that is absolutely fine). Full foot care and basic toenail trimming and filing are both offered to in-home clients. All initial appointments require a medical assessment of the feet, toenails and footwear. Diabetics have an additional monofilament test and an Inlows 60 second foot screening. Initial appointments also include full foot care and run approximately 1-1.5hrs. Full foot care service includes toenail trimming and filing, treatment of corns, calluses and/or cracked heels, filing of the skin on the bottom of the feet and a mini massage of the feet and lower legs, using a quality foot care product such as Footlogix.  Full foot care is approx. 45min-60min. Basic toenail trimming and filing includes trimming and filing of the toenails and a mini massage of the lower legs and feet, using a quality foot care product such as Footlogix.  Basic toenail trimming and filing is a 20-30 min service.
